The Amanda Hat

Everyone needs a warm hat in the winter!

Hats are a quick, fun and typically easy item for knitters to make. As a result, knitters tend to knit a lot of hats to give as gifts or donate to charity.

Some knitters have their favorite go-to patterns that they've happily knit again and again for years, while others search for a new pattern each time they cast on. Of course, it helps if that pattern is free, right? Here is a list of some of the best free knit hat patterns available...

The Amanda Hat

Designed by Gina House of Sleepy Eyes Knits, the Amanda hat is a beautiful design that looks a lot more difficult than it is. There's even a helpful how-to video available if you're not sure about the stitch pattern.

I wish that I knew how to knit.. I bet it's one of those things that once you pick it up, you never forgot. I LOVE the chunky newsboy cap! My daughter likes the Monsoon type caps... she has one that has cookie monsters face on it.. it's cute. This is a great first hub :0) You may want to make your coming ones just a tad bit longer.. Great hub, though :)
